Biography

NOTE: Based on the 1920 census which gives this Mary as 50-yrs old, single and still using the last name "Boutelle" it is likely she never married nor had any descendants..

Source 1: The 1880 US Census finds this Mary as a 10yr old, living with her parents, Henry & Martha Boutelle (name given in the record is spelled "Boutell, but we are certain the family's last name was really spelled "Boutelle"), and 3 siblings.

Source 2: 1920 US Census finds this Mary E. as a 50-yr old single woman, living with her father, Henry, brother, Elmer, a sister-in-law (Mabel E., who is likely Elmer's wife), and a niece, Mariel E., (whio is likely Elmer and Mabel's daughter).

Source 3: 1940 US Census finds Mary living in Leominster, Worcester, Massachusetts, as a 70-yr old single woman, living in a home headed by her brother, Elmer Boutelle. Elmer's wife; Mabel and Elmer's daughter, Mariel are also living in that household at the time.

Source 4: A brief article announcing her funeral in the Fitchburg Sentinel newspaper in July, 1967. Does not give exact day of death, or place of death, but there were several other briefs in this newspaper in the moths before July 1967 telling of Mary being taken by ambulance to the local hospital. July 12, 1967 is the announcing that the funeral had occurred, hence we estimate a date of her death of app. July 9, 1967.
