Biography
Henry William Benjamin Bowrey was born in 1857 in Clifton, Bristol, Gloucestershire, England, United Kingdom. He was the eldest son of Henry Bowrey and Elizabeth Gurnsey. [1]
Henry's family sailed from Plymouth to Sydney on the SS Australasian, arriving on 21 August 1884.
Henry married Rebecca Wellington and the couple had eight children, six surviving to adulthood.
He passed away in 1903 and was buried at Eastern Suburbs Memorial Park, Randwick City.
