In 1920, he was living in New Castle County, Delaware, with his mother, stepfather, and siblings. He was a laborer at a fibre mill. [4]
In 1930, he was living in Marshallton, New Castle County, Delaware, with his mother, stepfather, and siblings. He was a tube maker at a fibre plant. [5]
In 1939, he earned $1,560 in 52 weeks of work. [3]
In 1940, he was living on Capitol Trail, in Cranston Heights, New Castle County, Delaware, with his mother and siblings. He was a bus driver, for passenger transportation, and worked 48 hours the week of 24 March. [3]
He never married. [6]
He died on 14 November 1976, in Wilmington, Delaware. He was living at 3434 Old Capitol Trail, Marshallton, New Castle County, Delaware. He had been a self-employed television and radio serviceman for more than forty years. He was buried in Silverbrook Cemetery. [7] [2]
