George Braxton of "Hybia" in King William County, Virginia, in was born in 1762. He was the son of Carter Braxton (signer of the Declaration of Independence) and Elizabeth Corbin.[1]
George married Mary Walker Carter (1764–1836) of "Shirley" in Charles City.[1]
