Patrick was born in 1888.[1] He was the son of John Brazil and Julia Galliven.
Patrick served with the New Zealand Entrenching Battalion during WWI.[2] He passed away in 1918[3] after being wounded during the second Battle of the Somme. He is buried at Perth Cemetery China Wall near Ypres.[4]
