Research Notes
Although Robert Bridgens appears in the 1810 census for Pine Creek, Lycoming County, he appears in a listing declaring one male 26-44, 1 male 10-15, 2 males under 10, and with one female 26-44, 1 female 10-15, and 3 females under 10, both the parents were at that time over 45, and should have been listed as such.
This puts a birth date for Robert Bridgens at no earlier that 1766, which would not make it possible for him to have been a furnace operator (at the age of ten).
2022: could the listing in 1810 be for his son Robert?
