Biography

Peter Brobst was born in 1779. He was the son of Johannes F. Brobst and Barbara Stambach. He passed away in 1803.

Bapt. sponsors 31 Oct 1779 at the Jerusalem (Red) Church in Albany Twp were Peter FRIESZ and Anna Elizabeth STAMBACHIN, single. Father given as Johannes PROPST and wf Barbara. Berks Co. wills abstracts show Peter BROBST of Bern Tp, non-cupative will, 7 Feb 1803, probate 18 Feb 1803 [Will Book 4 p. 163]: all estate to be sold at Vendue, and 1/3 thereof given to wife Catharine, remainder 2/3 to dau. “The estate bequeathed him by his father should be divided in same manner.” Exrs.: Wife Catharine and father-in-law Daniel GLÜCK / GLUCK. Wits.: Everhart SÄMAN and Stephen KAUFMAN. Will Book 4, p. 163. -- This is the only Peter BROBST listed by Berks county in its online will registry.
