Margaret Simpson Brodie was born in 1888 in Woodford, Victoria, Australia, daughter of Margaret Jane (Wilson) Brodie and William Brodie.^[1]

Margaret died on 16 September 1974 in Warrnambool, Victoria, aged 85 years.^[2] Her remains were buried at Warrnambool Cemetery.^{[citation needed]}
