Eloi Broussard was born on April 02, 1788 in St. Martin Parish, Louisiana. He was baptized 12 May 1788 at St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish. His parents were Amand Broussard and Anne Benoit. [1]
He first married Marie Broussard on June 17, 1809.[2]

After Marie's death, he married Marie Irma Boutte on July 31, 1822.[3]
