Born
If Alexander had been 20 when he married Elisabeth in 1797, then he would have been born in or around 1777. I have no records to confirm this.
Marriage
Alexander Bryson and Elisabeth Clark married on 17 Jun 1797, at Christ Church, Tynemouth. [1]
Their children were Robert (born 21 Aug 1798, christened 15 Dec 1799), Jane Clark (1800), Elizabeth (1806), Margaret (abt. 1809), Jane (abt. 1812)
The later children, Elizabeth, Margaret and Jane were all christened at Bankside Dissenters, North Shields; the two older siblings at Christ Church. Both parents’ names were given each time, including Elisabeth’s maiden name (the spelling of which varied, unlike her Christian name). Other than they stopped christening children after 1812,
Died
I don’t know what happened to Alexander (or Elisabeth) in their later years.
Possible Deaths for Alexander were in 1839[2] or 1858[3].
Note:
Bryson seems to be a Scottish name.
