Biography
Joseph Smith Budgen was born in Queensland on 31 May 1890 to Obadiah Joseph Budgen and Sarah Smith.
Married twice, firstly in Queensland on 6 March 1912 to Elizabeth Jane Gray and they had four known children named:- Colin Obadiah Budgen, Hazel Maud Budgen, Joseph Harry Budgen, Audrey Jane Budgen.
Second marriage was on 22 December 1945 in Albert Street, Methodist Church Brisbane, Queensland; later known as Uniting Church.
Death occurred on 5 April 1955 and he was buried Bundaberg General cemetery
Parent's names on death record are Obadiah Budgen and Sarah Smith.
Brisbane Courier Mail published the second marriage.
