Biography

Daniel Bunker was born August 16, 1696 on Nantucket Island in Massachusetts where he lived throughout his life. He married married (1) Priscilla Swain November 14, 1717. After Prisciall's death in 1737, he married (2) on June 29, 1741 Margaret (Cofin) Davis (widow of John Davis).[1]

Daniel died January 5, 1746/7 and administration of his estate was given to Uriah Bunker (his cousin?, son of Peleg) February 6, 1746/7. The division of the estate February 17 noted "there being left a widow and 5 children", with a guardian appointed for children Joseph Bunker age 19, sons Silvanus and Tristram and daughter Ruth Gardner. [2]
