Biography
Fred immigrated to America in the Fall of1884 with his parents J. William and Caroline (Risch) Bunning. He remained in New York until the spring of 1885 when they moved to Benkelman, NE where his father took up a homestead northwest of town. Fred is enumerated in Dundy Co with wife, Viola and children Theodore and Alice. According to the 1930 census Fred was a farmer in Dundy, Co. In the same household was his wife, Viola and children: Wesley, Ferne, Ruth , and Ruby Leland and Ruby's husband Byran.
