According to the unsourced biography in the Find A Grave record, "Genevieve Burkhart was born in 1844 to John Burkhart from Germany and Marsellet Canada. She married first, John Novall and had a son John "Gus" Novall. After her first husband's death she married Thurston Thomas Aug 3, 1880 in Randolph County, IL. To them three children were born, Julia J. Thomas, Mary Lucearetie Thomas and Clarence C. Thomas". However, the 1900 Census shows an 18 y/o daughter, July Simons.
