Hello Joan, I jus merged Lard-156 & Lard-163 Because I do believe Sarah Lard Red is a sister to Levi L Lard-1934. It warned me that they had very close birthdays, Sarah being born May 15 1844 & Levi being born Nov. 14 1844 only 6 months apart. Also Sarah having died in Harrison County, Ms. & also dying in Stone County, Ms. Both being close to the Ms. Gulf coast, A good ways from Lincoln County, Ms. I have no dought that they are the same person. She married my GGGrand Uncle TJ Red and her sister Julia Lard married my GGrandfather Wm. Jabuz Red. These two things have me stumped, I hope U can shed some light on this. I looked @ their Stones on FAG and they have the same dates as above. I also live within a mile of the cemetery and have done alot of work on these families but never noticed this before. Thanks for any help in this matter.

As always, your questions are welcome!
You've been here a week now, and we hope you enjoyed your first stop on your guided tour of WikiTree and were able to make good use of the things you learned.
I see that you just did the Pre-1700 Self-Certification. That's great! Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Maybe you have some historically-significant ancestors? Participation in a project is strongly encouraged for those wishing to edit Pre-1700 profiles. Why don't you stop by the Project List to see how you can participate?
Be sure to also check out our Volunteer Hub to see our projects that really need new members!
Let me know, and I can help you figure out if there's a project that might interest you.
You are now a confirmed member, and you can get started adding your family members. As we've said, WikiTree is quite different from other genealogy sites. So, we've put together a guided tour to help you learn how to use it. Your first stop is How to Start Climbing Our Tree.
Tomorrow, you'll hear from a Mentor who will check in to see how you're doing and answer any questions you might have.
Next week, you'll get another message with your next stop on the guided tour.
You can also meet some of our members by joining in the fun with our Question of the Week in the G2G forum:
Have you discovered any real characters in your branches?

If you have any information on Frank William Pate’s father let me know. I have been searching for years. DNA ties my Pate line to the Throughgood Pate b1639? d 1713 family in NC. Specifically his son William b 1698-1700. I’m a retired educator. Superintendent in Texas.

You've probably been hard at work adding family members and getting connected to those that are already here. You should have at least a few profiles that you manage now. So, this week we're going to look at how to work with your Watchlist: How to Manage Your Watchlist.
Please let me know if you have any questions! I am happy to help!

You've been here for three weeks now! We hope you're profiles are starting to come together and that you've enjoyed getting to know all of us a little better. You're probably getting a good feel for the collaborative nature of WikiTree by now. We know that collaboration isn't always easy. So, we've put together a few pointers that can make working in this type of environment a little easier: How to be a Successful WikiTreer. As always, your questions are welcome!
