Death of Mrs James Parker.
On Wednesday of last week, another of our old residents passed away. Mrs James Parker, who had been ailing for a considerable time breathed her last on the day named after a life spreading over the alloted span three score years and ten - 70 years. Mr and Mrs Parker came to this district about 34 years agon, and they, with the bulk of their family, have lived here ever since. The late Mrs Parker, and her mother before her were Australian natives, our lae honored townswoman having been born in the Penrith district N.S.W, in 1832. During her long illness the late Mrs Parker displaed wonderful Christian fortitude under much suffering at times, being under all circumstances prepared for the great change. A husband and four sons and three daughters, as well as 31 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild, are left to mourn the loss of one whom all held dear ; but while they sorrow they do so with great hope. All the family are well and favorably known. The funeral took place on Thursday eving the Rev H.
