Elizabeth is the daughter of Basil & Elizabeth Burriss. She married Henry 'Jaybird' Liles on Jan. 7,1824 in Lewis County, Kentucky. They were the parents of 5 children:

Elizabeth was buried at the Tannery Cemetery on the banks of Kinniconick where her grave washed away in a flood.
