A FindAGrave memorial gives Jonathan's date of death as 1 Mar 1746.[2] This seems to be in error a as he was living and of Somers in a deed dated January 6, 1749.[Old Style?][3]

The gravestone for Jonathan's father is dated February 28, 1746, the death record for Jonathan 2nd is March 1 1746 - could these be for the same Jonathan ie, the father? (the FindAGrave link for this Jonathan has a photo of a gravestone which is the same as his father's - it's not this Jonathan's) There is a deed dated 1749 which have as grantors all of Jonathan's children, including this Jonathan, suggesting that this Jonathan was alive then.
