Dorothy May Butler was born 30 June 1899 in Nassau, Bahamas to John Webb "Jack" Butler and Hermione Bertha Olga Kohler Butler.
She married Thomas Eric Hartman Fisher, son of Reverend James Hartman Fisher and Evelyn Mary Ellen Burnside Fisher, about 1933. She was his second wife. The Fishers had two daughters: Dorothy Karen Fisher and Cathleen Priscilla Fisher.
Dorothy Butler Fisher died in Nassau 22 June 1959 at 59 years of age. She was buried in the Eastern Cemetery with her family.
