James Scott Butter was born 30 July 1875 in Spring Hill (now Forest Hill), Louisiana. He was the fourth child and the second son of William Butter and Emily Graham. He passed away at four years old 23 August 1879. [1]
James is also listed in the Mortality Schedule for 1880. [2]
