Biography

Rebecca was born in 1783. Her parents were Valentine Cackley Sr and Mary (Fry) Cackley.

She married John Ewing in 1801. [1]

Her family went to Ohio. She was the mother of eleven sons. The youngest was named Eleven Ewing. It is believed that the famous Tom Ewing, statesman and orator, and as such was the pride of Ohio, in his time was this family. [2]

In 1840 she was living in Ohio. [3]

In 1850 she was living in Ohio living in the home of her son Benjamin. [4]

She passed in 1851.

Rebecca was buried in Mount Tabor Church Cemetery, Mingo, Champaign County, Ohio. [5]
