Biography

Jude Caissie was born on 17 Aug 1842 and baptized the next day in Grande-Digue, New Brunswick, the son of Hyppolite Caissie and Agnès McGraw.[1][2]

In the 1861 census Jude (age 19) lived with his parents and siblings in Dundas, Kent, New Brunswick.[3]

Jude married Véronique Landry on 22 Nov 1870 in Grande-Digue.[4][5] Witnesses were Dosithée McGrath and Marie Gallant.

In the 1871 census Jude (age 28) was recorded as married in Shediac, Westmorland, New Brunswick.[6]

He was buried on 27 Sep 1875 in Grande-Digue.[7][8] His age noted in the parish register was about 30 years, the husband of Veronique Landry.
