Biography

Babe was born in 1898. She was the daughter of Edward Campbell and Rachel TenEyck.

She married Archibald A Stewart.

She passed away in 1953 and is buried in Pine Grove Cemetery, Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan.[1]

Born in the Soo and lived here most of her life. Survived by her husband, one son, Donald, her mother, Mrs. Rachel Creighton and one brother Percy Campbell of Barbeau, Mich. Funeral services will be held at Hovies Funeral Home May 27, 1953. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Babe Stewart died at 1 p.m. Sunday May 24, 1953 in her home at 407 Adams Street. She had been in ill health for the past six months.
Born in the Sault Feb 26, 1898, she attended school in this city and lived here the greater part of her life.
Surviving are her husband, Archie, and one son, Donald both in Detroit, her mother, Mrs. Rachel Creighton of the Sault; and a brother Percy Campbell of Barbeau.
She was a member of the Sault Bowaiting Club and attended the Church of Christ.
The body rests at Vanderhook Funeral Home where friends may call beginning this evening after 7:00 o'clock. Services will be held in the funeral home at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, the Rev. Ralph B. Michael officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery.
