Biography
The son of Charles Campbell and Mary (Groves) Campbell, Charles was born in Concordia in 1879.[1] He married Myrtle A. Rank (1878-1932), the daughter of Jacob Dale Rank and Nancy Pittinger, in Van Wert County, Ohio on October 7, 1900.[2] Their children included:
Ralph Earl Campbell (1902-1988)
Gerald Dale Campbell (1904-1998)
Ruby Myrtle Campbell (1906-2007)
Myrna Grace (Campbell) Erickson (1909-2001)
Elvin's parents and siblings moved to Michigan and, in 1910, Elvin and Myrtle farmed in Wheatland Township in Hillsdale County, Michigan.[3] In 1920, they were in Rollin Township, in Lenawee County.[4]
They moved to Berrien County, Michigan, residing in Niles Township, and that is where he passed away, at the age of 60.[5] He is buried at Silverbrook Cemetery in Niles.[6]
