Biography

Eleonore Campeau was born 19 March 1804 in Sandwich, Essex, Ontario, Canada, the daughter of Louis Campeau (1767-1834) and Therese Moran (1770-1864) NOTE: her mother was not Therese Moran, according to her birth record, below. Eleonore Campeau married Alexis Alexandre Cauchois on 28 November 1827 in Detroit, Wayne, Michigan. They had four children, Louis, Alexander, Charles, and Mary Ann. Eleanore died in 1849 in Ontario, Canada. ^[1]
