Sarah Charlotte Candish (married name Armstrong) was born on 1 June 1832 in Pimlico, London, England, the daughter of Charlotte (Smith) Candish and Joseph Candish.[citation needed]
She emigrated to New South Wales, Australia, as an infant with her parents and sibling on the Palambam in 1833. [1]
She married Colville Armstrong in 1848 at the Presbyterian Church in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.[2] Their daughter was:
Sarah died on 28 January 1922 in Richmond, Victoria, aged 90 years.[4]
