If Fafila's the son of Theodefredo and Ricilo -- who married after 687,[9] ... then, at earliest, Fafila would be born abt. 691/2. That would mean he died in childhood, and water down the idea that he's the father of Pelayo of Asturias ... as well as cast more doubt on his origins.[10]
