Parents

Father: (disputed) Theodefredo[6][1] or Chindasvinto[7]

Mother: (disputed) Ricilo UNKNOWN[8]

The parents listed for this individual are speculative and may not be based on sound genealogical research. Sources to prove or disprove this ancestry are needed. Please contact the Profile Manager or leave information on the bulletin board.

If Fafila's the son of Theodefredo and Ricilo -- who married after 687,[9] ... then, at earliest, Fafila would be born abt. 691/2. That would mean he died in childhood, and water down the idea that he's the father of Pelayo of Asturias ... as well as cast more doubt on his origins.[10]

Titles

(disputed) Duque de Cantabria[11][2]

Occupation

  • leader of Gallaecia[12]

About
