Text: CAPPS, Chester C., age 70, of 3145 Bennett Ave. passed away ina local hospital Friday, Oct. 5, (1956). Mr. Capps had resided in this community for the past 37 years and for 35 years had been employed as a shift foreman at the Olympic Portland Cement Co. Deceased was the 25th Master of Whatcom Lodge No. 151 F. & A.M., and was a member of the Lodge of Perfection of Scottish Rite. Surviving relatives are his widow, Nellie J. at home; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Louise Woodworth, of Tacoma and Mrs. Thelma Nadine Jeter of Anacortes; two sons, Chester N. of Port Angeles and Francis J. of Portland, Ore.; eight grandchildren; one brother, George N. Capps of Kansas City, Kansas and one sister, Mrs. Ina Mary Johnston of Kelso, Wn. The remains rest at Jones' Harlow-Hollingsworth Funeral Home where services will be conducted by the Rev. Harold E. Penhalurick and Officers of the Masonic Lodge Monday, Oct. 8, at 3 p.m. Final resting place Greenacres Memorial Park.
