Marie Magdeleine Caron naquit en 1719 à Beaupré, Canada, Nouvelle-France, d'Augustin Caron et de Marie-Magdeleine Gaulin.[1] Son prénom a orthographié « Magdeleine » (avec un « g », pas prononcé) dans tous les records.
En 1738 à Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, Marie Magdeleine épousa Joseph Gagnon, fils de Pierre Gagnon et d'Isabelle Lacroix.[2] Ils eurent cinq enfants.
Marie Magdeleine décéda à Beaupré en 1758 à l'âge de 39 ans.[3]

Marie Magdeleine was born in 1719 in Beaupré, Canada, Nouvelle-France, to Augustin Caron and Marie-Magdeleine Gaulin.[1] Her given name was spelled "Magdeleine" (with a "g", not pronounced) in all the records.
In 1738 at Saint-Anne-de-Beaupré, Marie Magdeleine married Joseph Gagnon, son of Pierre Gagnon and Isabelle Lacroix.[2] They had five children.
Marie Magdeleine died in Beaupré in 1758, 39 years old.[3]
