Biographie

Joseph Gagnon naquit en 1711 à Beaupré, Canada, Nouvelle-France, de Pierre Gagnon et de Isabelle Lacroix.[1]

En 1738 à Sainte-Anne, Joseph épousa Marie Magdeleine Caron, fille d'Augustin Caron et de Marie-Magdeleine Gaulin.[2] Ils eurent cinq enfants.

Marie Magdeleine décéda en 1758. Joseph ne se remaria pas. Il vécut jusqu'à 1793 et décéda à Beaupré à l'âge de 81 ans.[3]

Joseph Gagnon was born in 1711 in Beaupré, Canada, Nouvelle-France, de Pierre Gagnon and Isabelle Lacroix.[1]

In 1738 at Sainte-Anne, Joseph married Marie Magdeleine Caron, daughter of Augustin Caron and Marie-Magdeleine Gaulin.[2] They had five children.

Marie Magdeleine died in 1758. Joseph did not remarry. He lived until 1793 and died in Beaupré at the age of 81.[3]
