In 1881 Mary Jane Carpenter age, along with her mother Caroline Carpenter and her siblings, Edwin Carpenter (2) and Rose Matilda Carpenter (3 moths), were inmates at Westbury on Severn Workhouse. They had been abandoned by her father Job Carpenter.[2]
Albert James Drew and Mary Jane Carpenter married on 6 June 1897 at St John, East Dean, Cinderford, Gloucestershire.[3]
Joseph Hale and Mary J Drew married in 1940 at Forest of Dean registration district, Gloucestershire.[4]
Mary Jane Hale passed away in 1967. She was buried on 10 April 1967 at St John, Cinderford, Gloucestershire[5]
