No birth record for Walter Carr has been found. He is presumed to be the son of Walter Carr and Juliatha Daborne because he is mentioned in the will of Thomas Daborne (abt.1643-1684) who left him a two-year old heifer. [1]

Death

Walter Carr died sometime before 11 SEP 1699 when his widow, Martha posted administration bond on his estate. The sureties were John Willoughby and his brother-in-law Augustine Hawkins. His estate was valued at £61.1.6.

Martha Carr, the widow, married John Wiley.[2]

Augustine Hawkins was married to Walter Carr's sister. John Willoughby may Martha's brother or father. I've found no Marthas in Augustine's family.

According to Baltimore County Families, 1659-1759 [database on-line], Walter Carr was identified as son of Walter Carr and Juliatha. He was noted as "d. in A. A. County by 11 Sept. 1699 when his widow Martha posted admin. bond with John Willoughby and Augustine Hawkins; est. inv. by John Wellwood and John Gale and val. at £61.1.6; est. admin. 10 Oct. 1701 by John Willy or Wiley who married the widow; had issue Walter..." Also, Walter Carr's sister Susanna married Augustine Austin Hawkins who was likely the same Augustine Martha posted bond with. Perhaps a brother or relative of Martha's? Could her maiden name be Hawkins?
