Biography

Eleanor (Nora) May Casey was born in 1884. She was the youngest daughter of Captain Henry Samuel Casey and his wife Caroline Maria Strong.

She married John Henry Peard on August 4th, 1909 in Macleod, Alberta and according to the 1911 Census of Canada, they had a son, Henry Antony Peard who was less than a year old at the time.

The 1921 Canada Census shows no additional children.

She died on 17 January 1945, details of which can be found in a newspaper clipping on her Findgrave memorial page[1]. Nora and was cremated, with her ashes being interred at Royal Oak Burial Park Cemetery, Victoria, Capital Regional District, British Columbia, Canada[2]. PLOT: Garden of Remembrance D-107
