Biography

I believe my ancestors came from Rhineland, Palatine, Germany by way of Philadelphia in 1740; then settled in Salisbury area in NC. First known Settler to come from Germany was Peter Casper, I believe was born in 1720

I do have marriage records from Rowan County that you may be interested in seeing that are in the time period of 1700s-1800s. I also am working on the Cemeteries project for Rowan County, so I have been setting up project and/or free-space pages for some of the churches that my ancestors are buried at. I am also working on the Brown line for a cousin in Rowan County as well. My family migrated from PA and live(d) in the Craven and Morgan Townships in Rowan, NC.

Hello. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you as I have been sick for a couple of months now and just unable to do much on the computer. Just wanted to let you know that I did update the profile for David Casper, son of Conrad and Rachel Morgan Casper, back to original information. The reason you were able to modify/change info is because any person deceased over 150 years are open profiles, so anyone can update their information.

I am a descendant of Nathan Morgan, father of Rachel Morgan Casper, and I have been working on getting Nathan and his children's lines entered into Wikitree. I am working with several documents that I located at the Rowan County library back during the summer.
