The Amawalk Monthly Meeting was established in 1798, set off from the Chappaqua Monthly Meeting and under the Purchase Monthly Meeting. The Amawalk Monthly Meeting (Hicksite) changed to an Executive Meeting (meeting quarterly) in 1897. The Amawalk Monthly Meeting (Orthodox) changed its name to Yorktown Monthly Meeting in 1882.
