Marriage
There are conflicting accounts of more than one spouse for Nancy Chadwell. One account has her marrying a _____McLilen [1], while another has her married to a George W Barnes, of WIlliamson Co., TN [2] More research is needed to determine if one, or both proposals are in error, or if Nancy could have been married more than once.
The Family Search profile of George Washington Barnes (1775-1852) has his spouse documented as being Nancy Caroline (Evans) Barnes (1782-1858). [3] [4] Also given is a 1801 Kentucky marriage record for a George Barnes and Nancy Evans [5]
