Biography
Anna was born in 1839. She was the daughter of Oliver Chase and Elizabeth Bailey. [1]
She married Morris Simmons about 1856. They had 3 girls: Delinda, Elma Anna and Alta Velaria.

The census shows they were living next to Ellison Chase.
She died during childbirth on Nov. 28, 1867. She is buried in Browns cemetery. [3] There is a small marker with the name "Mother", which is near the Cummings monument.
Her widowed sister, Mary (Chase) Green lived with Morris Simmons after Anna's death.
Research
Have not found Anna or her parents in the 1850 census or the 1855 census. Only source for her parents' names is the Seven Generations of Descendants Book.
