Mary (d. 1473; bur. Horse Heath),^[1] is the daughter of:

• Laurence Cheney of Fen Ditton, Camb.;
• and Elizabeth, dau. of John Cokayne of Hatley, Camb

She married John Alington, esq. of Horse Heath, Haleworth and Great Wymondley (b. in or bef. 1428 - d. 25 Aug 1480; bur. Wymondley priory, Herts). They are the parents of:
