R. M. Clark
State oof Alabama Town of Shirley Precinct # 5
November 2nd, 1880 Color: White
Family tradition says that Richard M & wife Nannie Clark moved to Texas, where he died.
His body was sent back and buried in Good Hope Cemetery, Covington Co. AL.
Having no children, his estate was left to sibling, some who didn't claim it.
It has also been said that Richard first married a Blair girl, but she wouldn't go to Texas with him. Then he married Nannie Owens. And that Richard's father paid for Nannie and his body to be brought back to be buried at Good Hope Church.
