Biography
John was born in 1800. He was the son of William Clark and Helen Simpson. On 22 Sep 1841, John Clark and Ann Simpson were married by Rev. John Geddie. Witnesses were Daniel McNeil (1793-1854) and David Clark (abt.1809-1866). [1]
In 1881, he was a widower living in Lot 24, Queens, Prince Edward Island. Living with him were his son Lemuel with wife and 4 young children and his daughter Sophia. [2] He passed away on 18 Sep 1886. He was buried in Cavendish Community Cemetery with his wife Ann. [3]

Rev. John Geddie was the minister of the church now known as Geddie Memorial, a Presbyterian Church in Springbank, PEI.
