No evidence has been found to support this idea.
If she had been part of the Clifton of Clifton family, then she would much more likely to have married in her home parish rather than 16 miles away in Annesley. There is nothing to support the status of the family of Richard & Joane Shaw being that of the Cliftons of Clifton.
