Alexander died at the age of 52 on 6 October 1885 in Randolph Co., IN. Age: 52
He first married Elizabeth Francis (Cochran) Cline on 3 Oct 1851 in Ohio. It appears they had 3 children from the 1870 census. 1860 census was not found. Lydia Ann Cline Peden b 1855, William Cline b 1856, Sarah E Cline Harrington b. 1863
On 5 Apr 1866, he married Lucinda Davis Pinney, daughter of Ziba Davis and widow of Wilson Pinney. Their children were Louisa, Anna, May, Frederick, John and Joseph.
Alexander was buried after 6 October 1885 in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Randolph Co., IN.
