Biography

Andrew was born in 1841. He is the son of Francis Cohoe and Elizabeth Willson^[1] Andrew grew up in Norwich, Ontario. He is in the 1851 census with his parents and siblings. ^[2]

Andrew married Elizabeth Rounds in 1862.^[3] Andrew and Elizabeth had 7 children^[4][5][6]

As remembered by his nephew Wallace Cohoe "My uncle Andrew lived near Windsor, Ontario, and was a combination farmer and politician. He had six children. We did not see very much of him as he did not live near us. I visited there in my college days. They were prosperous and had a happy home."^[7]

Andrew passed away in 1921. He is buried in the Woodslee United Church Cemetery.^[8]

Research Note

There is an apparent son, Luther B Cohoe, age 9 b Ontario, Quaker, in the 1871 census with Andrew and Elizabeth.^[9] I can find no other information on him.
