Margaret Eileen Hendricker, 88, of Arenzville passed away early Tuesday morning, June 23, 2009, at her residence.

She was born on Jan. 25, 1921, in Bluff Springs, the daughter of Coil, Clay C. and Nellie M. Brown,.

Margaret married Hendricker, Harold Allen on March 24, 1948, at Beardstown Church of the Nazarene, and he preceded her in death on April 23, 2008.

Mrs. Hendricker is survived by one son, Hendricker, Roger A (wife, Edith) of Arenzville; three daughters, Uhles, Barbara L. (husband, Dennis) of Krohe, Ava, Mo., Donna D. (husband, James) of Houston and Rebecca J. (husband, Kenneth) Cox of Beardstown; two brothers, Coil, Donald E. of Springfield and Coil, William H. of Lapalma, Calif.; one sister, Simmons, Dorothy N. of Bluff Springs; seven grandchildren, Pruiett, Joy (husband, Shannon) , Wallner, Donna (husband, David), Powell, Gene (wife, Kelly) Powell, Michael (wife, Chris) , Alspach, Jennifer (husband, Ryan) , Krohe, Justin and Cox, Clarissa; as well as nine great-grandchildren, Wallis, April (husband, Lance) , Wallner, Michael and Heidi, Powell, Tareyn and Faelyn, Brummett, Sierra, Clark, Allen and Pruiett, Bryce and Malea. She was preceded in death by an infant son in 1957; a sister, Kiser, Betty; and a brother, Coil, Homer C..

Margaret attended Bluff Springs School and graduated from Beardstown High School in 1938. She then worked at Bridge Cafe, did housework at retired railroader's home, worked at Logan Myer Grocery Store and Wells-Lamont Glove Factory, then became a homemaker after her marriage to Harold, where she was very dedicated to her family which she loved dearly. Mrs. Hendricker was a member of Bethel Community Church of the Nazarene in rural Arenzville.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at Bethel Community Church of the Nazarene in Arenzville at 10 a.m., with burial following at Beardstown City Cemetery. The family will meet friends Friday from 5-7 p.m. at Sager Funeral Home in Beardstown. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Community Church of the Nazarene.
