Biography

When Hiram Augustus Conant was born on February 21, 1845, in Turner, Maine, his father, Everett, was 35 and his mother, Larania, was 32. He married Flora Augusta Adkins on February 9, 1866, in his hometown. They had 14 children in 23 years. He died on September 22, 1897, in Buckfield, Maine, at the age of 52, and was buried there.
