Biography

Alan was born in 1969. He was the son of Don Cook and Linda Whitney.

Alan was a fun and loving guy to many friends and family, a person with a great sense of humor. He like to watch his favorite University of Oregon Ducks Football with friends and family. His had a favorite NFL team of the Raiders. Rivalry during season was a fun with his many family cousins and his friends. The best was when he rivaled his Boise cousins with the Boise BSU Broncos and his UO Ducks. His laughter with all of us was quite contagious, he liked to joke around with us all.

He liked coast fishing which he recently got to enjoy with his b-law Phil, he went to the car races with sister Shelly and b-law Mike, He went to see sister Deana and enjoyed the game watching the Kansas City Chiefs against the Raiders. Last trip he went was to watch George Thorogood with sister Lori.

He liked camping, fishing and was a hunter when his dad was alive. He worked with some good people at Central Cylinder Head Inc. of Portland. They treated him like family.

Alan died at the young age of 54. He was not married nor had children. He was the last of the Cook bloodline and the youngest child in the family of 4. Leaving 3 older sisters.

Obituary

We mournfully announce the passing of David Alan Cook, 53, of Molalla, Oregon. Alan passed away on April 16th, 2023 unexpectedly.
Alan, born to Don and Linda Cook on April 29, 1969 in Boise, Idaho. Alan graduated Class of ‘87 from Molalla High School. From age 17, Alan started working at Central Cylinder Head Inc. of Portland, OR. He dedicated 36 yrs to the company.
He is survived by his three sisters Lori Jarvis, spouse [Phillip], Michelle Rivenes, spouse [Michael], and Deana Cook Tasoulas. Along with Uncle John Whitney, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held April 29th, 2023, Burial will be in Emmett Cemetery located in Emmett, Idaho where he will be laid to rest next to our parents
