Philip Coombe (22) married Elizabeth Williams on 13 July 1854 in Newlyn East. Philip was a miner of Newlyn, son of Philip ( a miner). Elizabeth was of Newlyn, daughter of Stephen. Witness was Stephen Williams. Both signed their names[4][5]
Philip and family are not found in the 1861 census, but in 1859 he is the innkeeper of the Victoria Inn, Peterville, St Agnes according to the birth record of his daughter Elizabeth.

In the 1900 census, Philip Coombs (66) wife Eleanor J Coombs (48) and children Mary C Coombs (22), Margaret B Junkin (20) and grandchild William H Junkin (3) are living in Ishpeming, Michigan[8]
