Aphia Coombs was born circa 1760; died at Waterford, ME, on 26 Oct 1833, buried at Lisbon Falls, ME; her marriage intentions were published at Topsham, ME, on 7 Apr 1780, both of Little River Plantation,^[1] and in Brunswick, ME, on 16 Apr 1780 to Abraham WHITNEY, of Topsham and they were married at Brunswick, ME, on 1 Feb 1780 [sic].^[2][3]

Abraham was born at Brunswick on 19 Aug 1753,^[4] the son of Benjamin Whitney and Mercy Hinckley; and he died at Waterford, ME, on 30 Sep 1831, age 79 years, buried at Lisbon Falls, ME. Resided at Lisbon, ME. ^[5]
