Biography

Mary Ann was born in 1873, the daughter of John Cooper and Mary Anne Barratt.

Mary Ann was taken to live in Australia by her mother when her parents separated. They may have both used the surname Nicholls, after Charles Nicholls who accompanied them from NZ.

In 1904, Mary Ann Nicholls married Alfred Joseph Schneider.^[1]

She passed away in 1932, aged 57. ^[2]
