Mary Corey was born on 3 Apr 1767 in Stowe, Middlesex Co, MA. Listed in the 1850 Census of St. Charles, Kane Co, IL as 83 years old.

Mary Corey and Eldredge Stanton were married in 1791 in Hartland, Windsor Co, VT. Eldredge Stanton was born on 31 Dec 1769. He died on 31 Dec 1813. He died at the Battle of Black Rock during the War of 1812. Mary Corey and Eldredge Stanton had the following children: Mary (Stanton) Walker

i. Mary Stanton. Mary Stanton and John Walker were married in 1815 in Cramahe Twp, Northumberland Co, ONT. Mary Stanton and John Walker had the following children: i. Hiram Walker.

Mary is the child of Ephriam Corey and Susanna Stevens. [1]

The Battle of Black Rock took place on 11 July 1813. If he died there, then the death date is incorrect and suspicious as to being the same as his birth date.
